1. structure sensitivity: material crystal phase, appearance, size, interface effect
2. Reaction selectivity: synthesis gas chemistry and methanol chemistry; C-O bond activation, C-C bond formation
3. Material stability: kinetics and stability theory of catalytic material structure evolution
